Having reached tantalisingly close with happy mark,sachin hit the South African attack to all parts of the ground and then held his nerves to attain the landmark of 147 balls. At the age of 37, Sachin Tendulkar is amongst the senior citizens in world cricket, but his hunger for runs remains unsatisfied as ever in life time.

Honestly speaking Brain lara seemed to me the most likely to break the record but he retried with out doing it but he set his records in test and first class cricket

Tendulkar is most and wonderful smash cricketer in ODI and more over tests also, Anwar stood record for 13 years because in this period there were number of players like Brain lara, Ricky Pointing, Shahid Afridi and Virender Sehwag who could have broken the record.

But Sachin Tendulkar put his record to the india cricket.
